I have PPVIS software from Chloride installed on my windows 7 laptop. I connect to my UPS through RJ45 and run the software, but could not connect to UPS. The software opens up on my laptop and tries to connect but then disconnect. I am trying to change set points of state of charge but could not get the software to connect so I can be able to do the changes. Do I need to change the windows operating system to windows 10? What should I do so I can connect and talk to my UPS.

To troubleshoot the connection issue between your laptop and the Chloride UPS using PPVis software, you can try the following steps:
Check the network cable connection between your laptop and the UPS to ensure it is securely connected.
Verify that the IP address settings on your laptop are correctly configured to communicate with the UPS.
Check if there are any firewall settings or security software on your laptop that may be blocking the connection to the UPS.
Try reinstalling the PPVis software on your laptop to ensure it is functioning properly.
Contact Chloride technical support for further assistance if you are still unable to connect to the UPS.
